    List of Ingredients




    1/2 cup flour
    1 tbsp. sugar
    1 tbsp. cocoa
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. soda
    1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup margarine
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 pints vanilla ice cream
    24 pecan halves
    Fudge & Caramel toppings

    Heat oven to 400 Degrees and grease cookie sheets.

    Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, salt and soda; set aside. Bring water and margarine to boil; add flour mixture until dough leaves sides of pan. Remove from heat. Cool 1 minute. Add eggs one at a time; stir in vanilla. Reserve 2 tbsps. dough for heads. Spoon remaining dough into 6 portions. To form heads, spoon 1 tsp. of reserved dough next to and just touching each body.

    Bake for 25 to 35 minutes or until puffed and set.

    To serve, split cream puff turtles in half, cutting each horizontally through body. Fill with ice cream. Place cut top on top of ice cream. Arrange pecans on plate for feet. Drizzle with toppings. Makes 6 turtles.
