    FUNNEL CAKES

    List of Ingredients

    1 egg
    2/3 cup milk
    ¼ tsp. salt
    2 tbsps. sugar
    1 1/3 cups flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    oil for frying
    Powdered Sugar

    Recipe

    Beat egg and add milk. Sift dry ingredients. Add egg mixture and beat until smooth. Pour into pitcher allowing batter to dribble out of pitcher into deep fat heating in pot. Make swirls in fat from center out. Cakes can be made any size. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towel. Serve sprinkled with powdered sugar or sugar and cinnamon mixture.

    Do not store. They get soggy. Eat right away.
