GHOST COOKIES--dip NutterButter cookies (or something with that shape) in white chocolate. Place mini M&M's or red hots for eyes and mouth while chocolate is still wet.
SPIDER WEBS--use any funnel cake batter, and pour into hot oil in shape of spider web. Drain--Dust with powdered sugar while warm.
BREADSTICK BONES--You can use homemade dough, or just buy the breadstick dough in cans. Roll them out into a rope, tie each end in a big knot, and brush with oil and bake. You can use pretzel dough too.
SPIDER WEB SOUP--Dip canned or homemade tomato soup into individual bowls (It also looks good on split pea soup, because of the yucky green color). Stir some sour cream until it is very smooth (add a bit of milk if necessary). Place the sour cream into squirt bottle or pastry bag and draw a spider web on top of the soup. (An easy way to do this is make 2 or 3 circles, then run the edge of a knife from center out to make the web design.
SPIDER ROLLS OR BREAD--Use homemade or frozen bread dough. Roll one ball for body and place on cookie sheet. Roll smaller ball for head, and place just touching body. Roll thin ropes and place with edges just under body for legs. Brush with oil and bake until browned.
WITCHES HATS--Place fudge stripe cookies on sheets with chocolate side up. Using any icing, stick (unwrapped) chocolate kisses in center of each cookie. You can use orange icing and let a little show around edges to make band or use orange tube icing to make a hat band, if you want.
SPIDER CUPCAKES--Bake any flavor of cupcake, and remove from the papers. Place upside down, and frost with dark chocolate frosting. Place red M&M's for eyes, and use black licorice for legs, sticking them out of the sides of the cupcake, and bending them to the angle you like.
MAGGOT PUNCH--Use any punch or cider recipe you like. Red can be "blood", but any kind is fine. Pour some of the punch into ice cube trays, and place gummi worms in each cube--leave some of them hanging over the edges so they are hanging out of the cubes when they freeze. Dump the ice cubes into the punch just before serving.
SNAKE SUB--Cut long french bread into sections, or use small round rolls or buns. Make whatever type of sandwich you want, then arrange the pieces on a tray like a squiggly snake. Place a long strip of pimiento hanging out of the "head" for a tongue, and use olive slices for the eyes.
SPIDER LOAF--Use a big round bread loaf, or make smaller individual ones. Make the sandwich with your choice of fillings, and use olive slices for the eyes. You can bend breadsticks and bake them to use for legs, or use thick rope licorice.
WORMS AND BLOOD ON A BUN--Cut uncooked hot dogs in half once lengthwise, then cut each half into 4-6 long somewhat squared strips. Dump into boiling water--as they boil they will curl and look like worms. Serve on hot dog buns, and slather with "blood" (catsup).
EYEBALLS--Make deviled eggs. Put one slice of ripe or green olive in center of yolk for pupil.
WITCHES--Place nice round scoops of green (pistachio or mint) ice cream on trays. Put sugar cones on top for witches hat. Use string licorice for hair, and candies or icing to make face.
INTESTINES--Get the thickest fresh fettucine noodle you can find. Cook them, and toss well with a little spaghetti sauce before serving.
SHRUNKEN HEADS ON A STICK--Dip caramel apples as you usually would, but before the caramel sets, decorate with candies to make face, and licorice to make hair. You can also use icing to attach candies and/or decorate once caramel sets up.
JACK O LANTERN CAKE--make two bundt cakes. Place first one upside down on platter. Spread flat side with orange icing, then place second cake right side up on top, forming round pumpkin shape. Frost completely with orange icing, then decorate with licorice or tube icing to make face. Fill center opening with candy corn, or frost wafer type ice cream cone with green icing and place upside down over center opening to make stem.
