STRAWBERRY JELLO SALAD

2 cups crushed pretzels
3/4 cup melted butter
3 to 4 tbsps. sugar
1 - 8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 - 8 oz. Cool Whip
1 pkg. (6 ounces) strawberry gelatin
2 cups boiling water
1 pint frozen strawberries (not fresh)
Recipe
Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter and 3 to 4 tbsps. sugar together. Pat in bottom of a lightly greased 13 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake 8 minutes in a preheated 350 oven. Do not overbake. Cool completely.
Combine cream cheese and sugar. Mix until light and fluffy. Fold whipped topping into cream cheese mixture. When pretzels are cool, pour mixture on top and refrigerate.
Dissolve gelatin in 2 cups boiling water; add frozen strawberries. Put mixture in refrigerator and when almost thick, but not completely solid, pour on top of whipped topping mixture.
Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
