    Chocolate Syrup Cake

    This is a rich chocolate cake. If you love chocolate cake, you will love this one. But, you can only eat 1 small piece because this is so sweet.

    List of Ingredients




    Cake:
    1 stick margarine
    1 cup sugar
    4 eggs
    1 cup all purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    pinch salt
    1 can chocolate syrup
    1 teaspoon vanilla

    Icing:
    1 cup sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/3 cup evaporated milk
    1 cup chocolate chips

    Recipe



    For Cake: Mix all cake ingredients together. Bake in 9x13" pan at 350° for 30 minutes.

    For Icing: Mix all icing ingredients together in a saucepan. Bring to boil. Add chocolate chips; stir till melted. Pour over hot cake & serve.

    Serve with ice cream, if desired.
