    Malted Milk Cookies

    List of Ingredients

    1 cup butter (no substitutes) softened
    3/4 cup packed brown sugar
    1/3 cup white sugar
    1 egg
    2 teaspoons Watkins Vanilla Flavoring
    2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    2 tablespoons instant chocolate drink mix or baking cocoa
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    2 cups malted milk balls, crushed

    Recipe

    In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugars. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, drink mix, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in crushed malted milk balls. Shape into 1-1/2" balls. Place 2" apart on greased baking sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until set. Cool for 1 minute before removing from pans to wire racks.

    Yield: about 3 dozen.
