    You could make a game with whoever finds the bay leaf in their serving. Would be a great way to get children to eat it!

    List of Ingredients




    3 lbs bonesless beef round steak, cut into serving-size pieces
    2 tablespoons vegetable oil
    2 medium carrots, cut in 1/2" slices
    2 celery ribs, cut into 1/2" slices
    1-3/4" cup water
    1 can (11oz) condensed tomato rice soup, undiluted
    1 can (10 1/2 oz) condensed French onion soup, undiluted
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1 bay leaf

    Recipe



    In large skillet, brown leef in oil over med-high heat; drain. Transfer to a slow cooker. Add carrots and celery. Combine remaining ingrediants; pour over meat and veggies. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender.

    Discard bay leaf before serving. Thicken cooking juices if desired.

    Yield: 8-10 servings
