    I don't normally like meatloaf, but this one is pretty good.

    List of Ingredients




    Meatloaf

    1 1/2 lbs ground beef (I always use ground chuck)
    2.8 oz can French Fried onions, divided
    8 oz Tomato sauce, divided
    2 TSP garlic cloves, crushed
    2 TBLP parsley
    1 TSP salt
    1/2 TSP pepper
    1 egg

    1 TSP sugar
    1/2 cup chopped onion, optional
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper, optional

    Recipe



    In a medium bowl, mix egg, 1-1/2 cups French Fried onions, 1/2 can of the tomato sauce, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper, (and chopped onion and green pepper if desired). Mix in the beef.

    Cook on 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven, drain liquid. Mix remaining tomato sauce and sugar together. Pour on loaf, sprinkle with remaining french fried onions. Put back in oven for about 10 minutes.
