Recipe Introduction
Easy and you use can use store bought juice.
List of Ingredients
4 cup unsweetened apple juice
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 pkg. of powdered fruit pectin (sure-jell)
4 1/2 cup sugar
Recipe
1. Pour the fruit juice and lemon juice into a 8 or 10 quart kettle.
2. Sprinkle with pectin.
3. Let stand one or two minutes; stir to dissolve.
4. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium-high heat; stir frequently.
5. Stir in the sugar.
6. Return to a full rolling boil; stir often.
7. Boil hard for one minute, stirring constantly.
8. Remove from the heat; quickly skim off the foam with a metal spoon.
9. Ladle into hot, sterilized half pint jars, leaving a 1/4 inch of headspace.
10. Adjust the lids.
11. Process in a boiling water bath canner for five minutes.
