Recipe Introduction
The root beer taste like honey when it's done. I've been making this for years and everyone loves it... My kids are grown and still ask for me to make them this every year.... The best part is you don't have to wait for summer, it can be made anytime!
List of Ingredients
2 cup root beer beverage (I like to use Mug or A & W)
6 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 pouch liquid pectin
Recipe
1. Combine all ingredients except pectin in a medium pan.
2. Heat to boiling stirring to dissolve sugar.
3. Add pectin.
4. Stir constantly to bring to a hard boil for 1/2 minute.
5. Ladle into clean hot jars and process for 5 minutes in a boiling water bath canner.
