    DONS MORNAY SAUCE

    A GREAT CHEESE SAUCE FOR MULTI USE


    List of Ingredients


    • 1/2 LB BUTTER
    • 1/2 LB FLOUR
    • 2 CUP CHICKEN STOCK
    • 1 QT HEAVY CREAM
    • 1/2 LB AMERICAN CHEESE
    • 1/2 LB SWISS CHEESE
    • 1/2 CUP CHEESE BLEND
    • PARSLEY


    Instructions


    1. MELT BUTTER. ADD FLOUR TO FORM A ROUX.
    2. ADD CHICKEN STOCK AND HEAVY CREAM. BRING TO A BOIL STIRRING OFTEN.
    3. ADD CHEESES AND AGAIN STIRRING OFTEN BLENDING IN UNTIL SMOOTH AND CREAMY. REMOVE FROM HEAT.
    4. SEASON AND GARNISH WITH PARSLEY
