- 1 -2 BUNCH BROCCOLI
- 1 QUART CHICKEN STOCK
- 1 CUP HEAVY CREAM OR 1 1/2 CUP MILK
- 1/2 TSP NUTMEG
- 1/2 CUP CHEDDAR
- 1/4 CUP FLOUR
- 1/4 CUP BUTTER
- S & P
Instructions
- BOIL BROCCOLI IN CHICKEN STOCK UNTIL TENDER NOT MUSHED UNDERCOOK IF NECESSARY
- PREPARE ROUX. MELT BUTTER. THEN ADD FLOUR.
- ADD BROCCOLI AND STOCK TO ROUX. BRING TO A BOIL.
- ADD CHEDDAR. WHEN MELTED ADD IN HEAVY CREAM AND NUTMEG. REMOVE FROM HEAT. SEASON AND SERVE.
