SAUSAGE AND SHRIMP GUMBO
List of Ingredients
- 3 TBP SAUSAGE
- 1 DICED GREEN PEPPER
- 2 DICED STALK CELERY
- 1 DICED WHITE ONION
- 2 TBP FRESH GARLIC
- 1 #10 CAN OF DICED TOMATOES
- 1/2 CUP JALAPENOES
- 1 1/2 QT CHICKEN STOCK
- 1 TSP FRESH BASIL
- 1 TSP FRESH THYME
- 1 CUP OKRA
- DASH HOT SAUCE
- SALT
- PEPPER
- 1 CUP WHITE RICE
Instructions
- SAUTE SAUSAGE, ONION, PEPPER, CELERY IN OIL FOR 3 MINUTES. ADD GARLIC AND JALAPENOES. COOK FOR 1 1/2 MINUTES.
- ADD RICE AND STIR IN FOR 2 MINUTES UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN.
- ADD REST OF INGREDIENTS. BRING TO A BOIL AND SIMMER UNTIL RICE IS TENDER.
