Pizza Dip
List of Ingredients
8 oz pkg of lowfat cram cheese, softened
1/2 cup lowfat sour cream
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp freshly ground black pepper
8 oz can of tomato sauce
1/4 tsp dried oregano
1/8 tsp onion salt
1/4 cup sliced green onions, diced
1/4 cup sliced black olives
1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning (I use Good Seasons)
Combine cream cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, and pepper. Beat until smooth and spread mixture into a 9-inch pie pan coated with Pam.
Combine tomato sauce, oregano, and onion salt and blend well. Pour over cream cheese mixture.
Layer green onions, olives, cheese, and Italian seasoning over the tomato sauce layer. (Can be prepared a day ahead of time.)
Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees F for about 20 minutes.
Serve with pita bread which have been cut into bite-size pieces, sprayed with Pam, sprinkled with basil, and baked at 400 degrees F for 6-8 minutes.
