    Spritz Cookies

    1 cup butter
    1/2 cup shortening (such as Crisco)
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/2 tsp almond extract
    1/8 tsp baking soda
    3 1/2 cups sifted flour

    Cream together the butter, shortening, and sugar. Add eggs and flavorings.

    Add all sifted dry ingredients and mix well. Force the dough gently through a cookie press onto UNgreased cookie sheet and bake for about 8 - 10 minutes at 400 degrees F. Do not brown.

    Makes about 10 dozen cookies.
