    Sticky Buns

    List of Ingredients

    Dough:
    1 1/2 cups warm water
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 pkgs dry yeast
    2 eggs
    1/2 stick butter
    2 tsp salt
    5 1/2 cups flour

    Filling:
    1/2 stick butter
    2 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/2 cup raisins
    1/2 cup chopped walnuts
    3/4 corn syrup

    Mix warm water and yeast; sprinkle with a pinch of sugar to activate and set aside.

    Make dough:
    Combine sugar, butter, salt, and eggs. Mix in flour slowly and knead until dough is smooth. Let rise for 1 1/2 hours in a warm location.

    Meanwhile, make filling: mix together raisins, walnuts, and brown sugar.

    When dough has doubled in size, punch down then roll out into a rectangle 12 x 24 inches. Brush with butter and sprinkle nut mixture on top; finish by topping with corn syrup. Roll up and slice 1-inch thick.

    Place in a large, greased, round pizza pan and bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes.

    When cooling, drizzle a lemon/powdered sugar/milk glaze. Serve warm!
