    Marinated Mushrooms

    2/3 cup tarragon vinegar
    1/2 cup salad oil
    2 Tsp water
    1 Tsp sugar
    1 1/2 tsp salt
    1 garlic clove
    1 lb fresh mushorooms
    dash hot pepper sauce
    1 medium onion, sliced thin
    sweet red pepper, diced fine

    In a glass bowl, combine vinegar, oil, water, sugar, salt, garlic, and hot sauce. Add mushrooms and onion. Toss to mix. Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Sprinkle with red pepper when ready to serve.
