Three Bean Bake

List of Ingredients
- 1 can each: pork and beans, kidney beans, butter beans
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 5 slices bacon
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 large onion
- 1/2 stick butter
- Jane's Krazy Mixed-up Salt
- Jane's Krazy Mixed-up Pepper
- Lawry's coarse ground garlic powder with parsley
Instructions
- Empty pork and beans into a 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Drain the kidney and butter beans, then add to dish.
- Add ketchup, brown sugar, dry mustard and mix.
- In a large frying pan, saute onion in butter; season this very generously with the Krazy salt and pepper and the garlic powder.
- Don't brown the onions. When onions are cooked, empty them along with remaining butter in pan into casserole dish and mix with beans. Brown meat in same frying pan. Drain the meat on paper towels, then add to bean mixture.
- Twist strips of bacon and lay across the top of prepared casserole.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
