    List of Ingredients


    • 3 lb. Chicken cut-up
    • 3/4 teaspoon salt
    • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
    • 2 1/2 cups chicken broth
    • 1 cup uncooked regular long grain rice
    • 1 medium onion, chopped
    • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
    • 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
    • 1/8 teaspoon turmeric
    • 1 bay leaf
    • 1 package frozen peas
    • green olives
    • pimiento


    Instructions


    1. Heat oven 350 degrees.
    2. Place chicken skin side up in ungreased dish 13x9 inches.
    3. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and paprika. Bake uncovered 30 minutes.
    4. Heat broth to boiling. Remove chicken from dish, drain fat.

    5. Add broth and all else to dish. Top with chicken.
    6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350 degrees about 1/2 hour.
    7. Garnish with pimiento strips and olives.
