Mother Mac's Cranberries

List of Ingredients
- 2 (12 oz.) packages cranberries
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup water or less
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup juice oranges, sliced thin and then chopped
Instructions
- Wash cranberries.
- Place water, sugar and berries in a large pot. Turn on high and keep stirring to keep sugar from burning.
- Once the sugar is melted and berries are boiling. Boil for 3-5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat. Add nuts and orange and fold in. Let cool in pot, stirring now and then.
- Refrigerate, or freeze will keep for months.
