Crab Quiche

Recipe Introduction
One of those Dishes I classify as ..Not for those who have trouble sharing.
List of Ingredients
- 1 pastry shell (9 inch) partially baked
- 1 Tbls Butter
- 2 Tbls Shallots, minced
- 1 cup Crabmeat
- 1 Tbls Flour
- 1 1/2 cups Swiss cheese, shredded/divided
- 3 Eggs
- 1 cup Half n Half
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- Dash White pepper or Hot pepper sauce
- Dash Nutmeg
- Minced Parsley
Instructions
- Partially bake 9 inch Pastry shell
- Saute shallots in butter untill tender, about 2 minutes, mix with crabmeat and flour. Set aside.
- Sprinkle 3/4 cup swiss cheese in bottom of pastry shell
- Spread in crabmeat mixture
- Sprinkle with remaining 3/4 cup swiss cheese.
- Beat together eggs, half n half, salt, pepper, nutmeg and parsley. Pour into pastry shell.
- Bake 25 - 30 minutes in a 350 oven.
- Serves 6-8.
