    Baked Fudge Bars

    List of Ingredients


    • 3 squares Chocolate
    • 2 cups Sugar
    • 1/2 cup Shortening
    • 4 Eggs
    • 1 1/3 cups Flour
    • 1/2 cup Milk
    • 1/4 tsp Salt
    • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
    • Frosting:
    • 4 cups Powdered Sugar
    • 3/4 stick (6 Tbsp) Butter
    • 2 heaping Tbsp Instant Vanilla Pudding
    • Evaporated Milk
    • 2 squares Chocolate


    Instructions


    1. Cream Sugar & Shortening

    2. Add Eggs & beat until light and fluffy

    3. Add Vanilla to Milk and add alternately with Salt & Flour

    4. Add melted Chocolate

    5. Put in greased bar pan

    6. Bake 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes

    7. Frosting Instructions:

    8. Add 2 heaping Tbsp Pudding to Powdered Sugar and mix with softened Butter

    9. Add enough Evapoated Milk & beat to spreading consistency

    10. Spread about 1/2 White Frosting on cooled Fudge Bars

    11. Let set

    12. Add 2 squares melted Chocolate to remaining Frosting and spread or drizzle over White Frosting
