List of Ingredients
- 2 cup Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Margarine
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup White Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 3/4 cup Milk
- 1 cup well drained & chopped Marichino Cherries
- 6 ounces Chocolate Chips
- Frosting:
- 1/4 cup Margarine
- 2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 2 Tbsp Milk
Instructions
- Sift Flour, Baking Powder & Salt. Set aside
- Cream Margarine with Sugars, then blend in Eggs & Vanilla
- Add Dry Ingredients, alternating w/ Milk. Begin & end with Dry Ingredients.
- Stir in Cherries and Chocolate Chips
- Put in greased & floured Jelly Roll or 9 x 13 pan
- Make Frosting by browning Margarine on medium heat
- Blend in Sugar, Vanilla & Milk
- Let bars cool, then frost
