    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cup Flour
    • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
    • 1/2 tsp Salt
    • 1/2 cup Margarine
    • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
    • 1/2 cup White Sugar
    • 2 Eggs
    • 1 tsp Vanilla
    • 3/4 cup Milk
    • 1 cup well drained & chopped Marichino Cherries
    • 6 ounces Chocolate Chips
    • Frosting:
    • 1/4 cup Margarine
    • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
    • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
    • 2 Tbsp Milk


    Instructions


    1. Sift Flour, Baking Powder & Salt. Set aside

    2. Cream Margarine with Sugars, then blend in Eggs & Vanilla

    3. Add Dry Ingredients, alternating w/ Milk. Begin & end with Dry Ingredients.

    4. Stir in Cherries and Chocolate Chips

    5. Put in greased & floured Jelly Roll or 9 x 13 pan

    6. Make Frosting by browning Margarine on medium heat

    7. Blend in Sugar, Vanilla & Milk

    8. Let bars cool, then frost
