List of Ingredients
- 16 cups Tomatoes peeled and mashed
- 2 cups Green Peppers cut fine
- 2 cups Onion cut fine
- 1 jalapeno pepper cut fine
- 6-8 cloves of Garlic cut fine
- 5 tablespoons of Salt
- 2 tablespoons of Pepper
- 5 tablespoons of Chili Powder
- 3 tablespoons of Sugar
- 1 cup Vinegar
Instructions
- Simmer all ingredients together 30 - 40 minutes.
- Thicken with Flourwater to desired thickness.
- Hotwater bath 20 minutes.
- Makes 10 - 11 1/2 pints.Serve with Tostito Chips, use for Tacos, etc.
Final Comments
May also grind the vegetables before cooking.
