Hominy and Cheese Casserole
List of Ingredients
- 1 large can whole white or yellow hominy
- 1 cup grated cheddar
- 1 - 4 ounce can green chilis, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/4 heavy cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Drain hominy, you should have three cups, mix with chilis.
- Set aside one cup of cheese for topping.
- Put one half of hominy in buttered casserole, put cheese over, layer on the rest of the hominy.
- Pour on the cream, top with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
