    Mam-ma's Stove Top Custard

    List of Ingredients




    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    1/2 cup sugar
    dash of salt
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 can of evaporated milk
    1 cup of boiling water

    Recipe



    Mix well all ingredients,and pour into custard cups and put into dutch oven with a thin cloth under the cups.

    Pour boiling water even with custard in cups.

    Let come to a boil, boil for one minute, cut off heat and cover and cool. This is good and so easy.
