    List of Ingredients




    2 well trimmed beef ribeye steaks cut 1” thick
    1 T olive oil
    1T fresh lemon juice
    4 pita pockets warmed
    2 T crumbled feta cheese
    1 T chopped ripe black olives
    1-1/2 t garlic powder
    1-1/2 t dried basil leaves
    1-1/2 t dried oregano leaves
    1/2 t salt
    1/8 t pepper

    Recipe



    Combine garlic powder, basil and oregano and ½ t salt and 1/8 t pepper in a small bowl. Press evenly into both sides of the steaks. In a large nonstick skilled, heat oil over medium high heat and hot. Place steaks in skillet to sear. Cook 12 minutes for medium rare to medium doneness, turning once. Sprinkle with lemon juice. When cooked, removed from pan and carve steaks into thin slices. Arrange in pita pocket and sprinkle with feta cheese and olives.
