Asian Shrimp & Snow Peas

List of Ingredients
½ cup chicken broth
1 T soy sauce
1 T white wine or rice wine vinegar
½ sesame oil
2 t sugar
2 t cornstarch
1 T vegetable oil
3 cloves of garlic minced
1 T chopped fresh ginger
1 lb. Medium shrimp peeled & deveined
salt/pepper to taste
½ lb. Snow peas touch end removed
1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts drained rinsed and sliced
juice of ½ lemon
Recipe
In small bowl combine chicken broth, soy sauce, vinegar, sugar and cornstarch. Mix well and set aside. In large skilled or wok heat oil over medium-high heat. Add garlic and ginger and sauté until fragrant about 2 minutes (do NOT let garlic brown!) Add shrimp and sauté until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt/pepper. Add snow peas and water chestnuts; sauté 3 minutes. Add stock mixture. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to a simmer and cook until liquid has thickened and is no longer cloudy….about 2-3 more minutes. Sprinkle with lemon.
