    Recipe Introduction


    This is a family recipe from Bob who is Hungarian. It's an outstanding side for a summer meal!


    List of Ingredients


    • 6 cucumbers, peeled and sliced paper THIN
    • Salt to taste
    • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
    • 3 Tbsp White Vinegar
    • 1 Cup Sour Cream
    • Hot Hungarian Paprika (to taste)


    Instructions


    1. Slice the cucumbers PAPER THIN. Use a mandelion if possible - Just remember --- PAPER THIN!
    2. Salt the cucumber slices to taste.
    3. Allow the salted cucumbers to stand for 30 minutes.
    4. Hand squeeze the excess liquid from the cucumbers.
    5. In a seperate bowl mix together the sourcream, vinegar and minced garlic. Mix well
    6. Now add the sour cream mix to the cucumbers. Stir it all together.
    7. Chill prior to serving.
    8. Prior to serving sprinkle the cucumbers with Hungarian paprika for color and taste.


    Final Comments


    Two tips - REMEMBER PAPER THIN!!!! Also work at getting the excess liquid off the cucumbers.
