Pecan Caramel Triangles

List of Ingredients
- 2 cups of unsifted flour
- 1/2 cup of confectioner's sugar
- 1 cup of cold, unsalted butter
- 1 (14 ounce) can of condensed milk
- 1/2 cup of whipping cream, unwhipped
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups of chopped pecans
- Chocolate Drizzle> recipe follows
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350*
- In a medium bowl, combine flour and sugar, cut in butter until crumbly.
- Press in firmly on bottom of 13x9-inch baking pan.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges.
- In a heavy saucepan, combine condensed milk, whipping cream and vanilla. Over medium-high heat, cook and stir until mixture comes to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium, cook and stir until mixture thickens, eight to 10 minutes. Stir in pecans.
- Spread evenly over prepared crust. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool.
- Garnish with Chocolate Drizzle.
Chill
- Cut into triangles. (Store covered at room temperature)

1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 teaspoon shortening
- Melt semisweet chocolate chips with shortening
