    A good hearty meal... and cook two meal items at once! This recipe is so good, so easy, and sugar buster legal!

    List of Ingredients




    4 center cut pork chops
    1 cup brown rice
    4 sliced green onions
    1/2 lb. sliced fresh mushroooms
    1 TBS garlic, minced
    4 oz butter or margarine
    1 sliced tomato
    1 sliced onion
    1 green pepper, sliced in rings
    1 1/2 cup beef broth or stock

    Preheat oven to 375°
    Spray a 9” X 13” casserole pan with cooking spray. Put RAW rice in casserole pan. Melt butter or margarine and sauté mushrooms, green onions, and garlic in a frying pan. Mix with the rice. (I sprinkle the chops with salt and pepper to season, then...) Brown pork chops on both sides and place on top of rice mixture. Place a slice of tomato, onion and green pepper on each pork chop. Pour beef broth or stock over the casserole. Cover with foil and bake in the oven for 1 hour. (I have found it necessary to bake for 1 1/2 hours)
