I am a keen foodie, quite obsessed with learning new tastes, luscious dishes and making new friends. My favourite food includes Thai, Malaysian, Chinese, Italian and traditional fayre. I was born in Malaysia and I love street food! Ever since I have settled in the UK, I have been a keen cook to try and recreate some of my favourite street food and also my childhood food. I hope to impart some knowledge to my future children one day about their rich food and cultural heritage from me and my British husband.
The best cooks I know are my mum and hubby's nan. They represent cooks of the bygone era as most of us do not cook some of these dishes due to hectic modern living. As I learn from their years of wisdom on cooking and recipes, I will impart the knowledge here too. This archive is like my personal family food heirloom journal as well as new foodie ideas and dishes.
