    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups sliced peaches
    • Lemon juice
    • Cinnamon
    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
    • 2 tsp. baking powder
    • 2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp. salt
    • 1 stick butter, melted
    • 1 cup milk
    • Topping:
    • 1 1/2 cups sugar
    • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
    • 2 cups boiling water


    Instructions


    1. In a 9 x 13 cake pan, slice fresh peaches. Sprinkle with lemon juice and cinnamon. Combine sugar, baking powder, flour and salt in mixing bowl. Blend in butter and add milk. Spread this batter on top of peaches. Sprinkle the batter with Topping.
    2. Topping: Sprinkle sugar and cornstarch over batter. Add boiling water over top. Do not stir. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
