Green Pepper Steak

List of Ingredients
1 - 2 lbs. sirloin, tenderize if necessary, cut into 1" pieces
1 - 2 green peppers, cut into 1" squares
1 onion, cut into 1" squares
1 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
2 -3 tbsp. cooking oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
Dash Accent (optional)
1 can beef broth
1/4 to 1/2 cup cooking sherry
1 Tbsp. Oyster sauce (optional)
(1/4 lb. Mushrooms and/or 2 tomatoes may be added just
before serving - optional)
Recipe
Heat oil in large skillet or wok. Saute garlic and onion quickly. Add
meat and saute quickly. Remove from pan. Saute
peppers and any other vegetables (one vegetable at a time to retain
individual flavors )quickly, remove from pan. Drain any
fat. Add wine, broth, seasonings and oyster sauce. Cover and cook a few
minutes until meat and vegetables are cooked
through and heated. Thicken with cornstarch and water. Serve over rice.
