Ice Cream in a Bag
List of Ingredients
2 tablespoons sugar
l cup Half & Half
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
l/2 cup salt (It says to use the bigger granules because they work better -- like Kosher or rock salt, but it says you can use table salt instead)
Ice cubes ( enough to fill a gallon-size plastic ziplock bag about half full)
l pint size ziplock bag

Combine sugar, half and half, and vanilla extract in the pint sized bag and seal it tightly.
Place the salt and ice in the bigger sized bag, then place the sealed smaller bag inside as well. Seal the larger bag. Now shake the bags until the mixture hardens ( about 5 minutes). Feel the small bag to determine when it's done. Take the smaller bag out of the bigger one, add any mix ins you want and eat the ice cream right out of the bag.
