    Mabel's Chess Cake

    This is a handwritten recipe found in my Grandmother's cookbook. It was given to her by my aunt Mabel.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
    • 3eggs
    • 1 stick oleo
    • 1 box powdered sugar
    • 1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese


    Instructions


    1. Mix cake mix,1 egg, and oleo and pat into 9x13 greased and floured pan.
    2. Mix sugar,2 eggs and cream cheese til smooth. pour over cake mixture.
    3. Bake 350 for about 30 minutes. Cool on rack.


    Final Comments


    This is a quick and easy cake for last minute desserts.
