    unknown

    Recipe Introduction

This is the best pork barbeque outside of the Carolinas. The meat is good by itself or served with a side of your favorite sauce.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 pork picnic (about 5 lbs.)
    • 1 tablespoon kosher or sea salt
    • 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
    • 1 tablespoon paprika
    • liquid smoke - hickory smoke flavor
    • hamburger buns
    • coleslaw

    Instructions

    1. Mix together the salt, pepper and paprika in a small bowl.
    2. Place pork in crockpot and pour liquid smoke all over meat.
    3. Rub on the spice mixture and pour liquid smoke all over again.
    4. Cover and cook for 8-10 hours on low.
    5. Remove meat and shred with forks; discard bones and skin.
    6. Place meat in a bowl and add some of the cooking liquid to maintain moistness.
    7. Serve on buns with coleslaw.
