    Chef William Spry's Barbecue Sauce

    List of Ingredients




    For flank steak, brochette of pork, lamb, shrimp or chicken, spareribs; pork, lamb or veal.
    1/4 C. minced onion
    1 clove garlic
    2 T. oil
    1/2 C. water or broth
    2 T. brown sugar
    1 C. chili sauce
    1 T. vinegar
    1 T. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 C. lemon juice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. paprika
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 C. ketchup
    1/2 tsp. salt

    Recipe



    Saute onion and oil until golden brown. Add all other ingredients and cook 30 minutes before using.
