    1 1/2 very finely chopped nuts
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter melted
    3 8oz. packages cream cheese softened
    1 cup sugar
    4 eggs
    1/3 cup amaretto
    1 8oz carton sour cream
    1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon sugar
    1 tablespoon amaretto
    1/4 cup sliced almond's
    1 milk chocolate or semi-sweet candy bar grated.

    Combine chopped nuts, 2 Tbs sugar, cinnamon and butter and mix well. Firmly press mixture into bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of 9 inch spring form pan. Beat cream cheese until light and fluffy. Gradually add 1 cup sugar mixing well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in 1/3 cup amaretto and pour into pan. Bake at 375 for 45 to 50 minutes or until set. Combine sour cream, 1 Tbs plus 1 tsp sugar and 1 Tbs amaretto. Stir well and spoon over cheesecake. Bake at 500 for 5 minutes. Let cool to room temp and refrigerate 24 to 48 hours. Before serving, garnish with almonds and grated chocolate.

    I usually increase the amaretto to about 1/2 cup to give a little stronger flavor. Enjoy!
