    List of Ingredients





    1 cup short or medium grain rice
    1 cup + 1 tbsp. water

    Wash rice several time in cool water until the water runs clear. Let soak for a few minutes then drain thoroughly in a colander.
    Place rice in a heavy pot with a tight fitting lid and add the water; cover and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat allowing the rice to steam for 15 minutes.
    Remove pot from the heat. Remove the lid and quickly stretch a clean towel over the pot; cover with lid. Let it remain covered and without heat to finish steaming for another 15 minutes.
    4 to 6 servings

    NOTES : Use only short or medium grain rice!
