Recipe Introduction
(Seems runny, but will thicken when cold.)
Chill overnight or for 4 hours.
Notes: Is better the next day or the day after that! The flavors really blend then.
List of Ingredients
Macaroni Salad
In a large bowl, mix together:
* 1 lb. cooked, drained & cooled macaroni shells (use 2 (14 oz.) shell macaroni packages)
1 green pepper, chopped
4 carrots, grated
1 medium onion, chopped
In a bowl combine:
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 C. sugar
1 scant cup vinegar (I use 3/4 C.)
2 C. Hellman's mayonnaise
1 teas. salt
1/4 teas. pepper
Add the dressing mixture to the macaroni mixture.
