    List of Ingredients

These instructions are for 1 bag of microwave popcorn *Regular Butter type (no butter light, no jumbo, etc...)

You need to find a local Candy Supply shop in your area. I use and prefer "Nestle" white chocolate caps, it coats nice and thick and is scrumptious!! (Stay away from Guidard - found at most craft stores, blech!!!! - Merckens is good, but coats lighter and thinner.). A one pound bag will run you around 2.15. (you'll be able to coat 2 microwave popcorn bags with 1 pound.) While you're there, purchase cello bags of your choice - they are available
with all sorts of holiday designs! If you can only obtain plain clear, use stickers relating to the holiday - and tie the bags TIGHTLY with seasonal ribbon, curl them of course :-)

**COVER your counter (or kitchen table if you'll be making a lot :-) with waxed paper.
**Use a 2 cup GLASS measuring cup to microwave melt your caps.
**Use a large METAL mixing bowl (metal because it will continue to warm up quickly when making additional bags) to mix the popcorn in.

Step 1 - Place a 1/2 pound of your white chocolate caps in the two cup measure. Microwave on MEDIUM power (50%), first for one minute, stir, again for 30 seconds at a time until smooth - stirring after EACH 30 seconds (DON'T overdue it or rush it - it will scorch!!!).

Step 2 - When melted and smooth, set aside and pop your microwave bag of popcorn as you normally would (When it's done you need to work quickly!)

Step 3 - You want the popcorn hot/warm, so quickly empty the bag into your metal bowl, pour your melted chocolate over the popcorn - swirly like :-) Immediatley use a metal spoon and just keep stirring the popcorn and turning it over so that you cover as much as possible. Approximately 1 1/2 minutes.

Step 4 - Pour and smooth (flatten) out the popcorn (with the back of a metal spoon) on the waxed paper. Most of the unpopped kernels will have remained in the bottom of your bowl - you don't want many to get in with your popcorn :-) Allow it to set for approx. 20 minutes....30+ if it happens to be a humid day. While waiting, melt and pop some more!!!!

Step 5 - After tasting :-) because you really can't resist, place another sheet of waxed paper over the popcorn - for sanitary reasons - and use both of your hands to crumble the popcorn nicely, not in tiny pieces, but little chunks. When it's broken up to suit you, use a metal spoon to scoop it into your bags - don't pack it in, just put it in lightly. Whallah....candy coated popcorn, it will look just like popcorn, until you eat it....
I use pleated bags size approx. 7" long with pleats on both sides.

I hope you like it :-) People who don't like popcorn or white chocolate will be hooked!
