    Steamed Mussel Delight

    Mussels, 2 lbs.
    Garlic
    Powdered Ginger
    White wine (I used Gossamer Bay)

    If you've ever steamed clams, you can make this. I have a dutch oven with a colander insert which works out perfectly for this recipie (but you use whatever you have). I filled the dutch oven with about 2" of water, and just added garlic and white wine right to the water. There are no set amounts here--just use your own sense of smell and taste! Steam the mussels just as you would clams. You can tell they're done when the shells are open. If a shell isn't open--DON'T EAT IT. :-) Enjoy!
