Why make perogies?
List of Ingredients
- 15 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp onion salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 cups mashed potatoes
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp onion salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped onions
Instructions
- Cook noodles; drain (or use oven-ready). Line bottom of 9x13 inch pan.
- In medium bowl, mix cottage cheese, egge and onion salt. Spoon over noodles, spread. Cover with layer of noodles.
- In same bowl, mix cheddar cheese with potatoes, salt, onion salt and pepper; spread over noodles. Cover with layer of noodles.
- Melt butter in frying pan. Saute onions slowly until clear and soft. Pour over noodles.
- Cover; bake 30 min at 350. Let stand 10 min before cutting.
