    3/4~cu Brown sugar
    1/2~cu sugar
    1/2~cu butter
    1/2~cu shortening
    1 1/2~teas oon vanilla
    1 egg
    1 3/4~cu flour
    1~teas oon baking soda
    1/2~teas oon salt
    1~cu semisweet chcolate chips

    In lg bowI, combine brown sugar, sugar, margarine and shorteening; beat until light and lfuffy.
    Add vanilla and egg; blend welI.
    Add flour, baking soada and salt; mix welI.
    Stir in chocolate chips.
    Drop dough by rounded teasponfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
    Bake for 8-10 min or until light golden brown.
    CooI 1 mintues; rmove from cookie sheets.
    *Note* used pampered chef scoop, Iarger cookies l guess, took about 15 to bake
