Teriyaki Stir-fry

Recipe Introduction
This recipe works equally well with beef or pork; I imagine chicken as well!
List of Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless beef sirloin rilling steak, cut in thin strips
- 1 1/4 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp soya sauce
- 1 tbsp packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 2-3 cups fresh or frozen veggies
- 4 cups hot cooked rice
Instructions
- Heat large, non-stick skillet, lightly coated with vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Cook beef 10 minutes or until browned. Set beef aside.
- Stir in misture of broth, cornstarch, soya sauce, brown sugar and garlic powder. Heat to a boil, stirring often. Return beef to skillet. Reduce heat, simmer 5 minutes.
- Stir in veggies. Simmer, covered, until beef and veggies are cooked through--about 5 minutes, stirring occassionaly. Serve over rice.

Serves 4.
