    List of Ingredients




    1~poundextra lean ground beef
    1/2~cupunseasoned dry bread crumbs
    1/2~cupmilk
    1egg white
    1/4~cup finely chopped onion
    1~teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/4~teaspoon salt
    1/4~teaspoon pepper
    GRAVY
    3/4~cup beef broth
    1/4~cup red wine
    1~tablespoon cornstarch
    1/4~teaspoon thyme
    2.5~oz sliced mush, drained

    Recipe



    Combine all pattty ingredients; mix gently.
    Shape into 6 oval patties, about 3/4 inch thick.
    Spray lg skillet with nonstick cooking spray. Heat over medium heat until hot.
    Add patties; cook 3 min on each side or until browned.
    Remove patties; drain if necessary.
    In sm bowl, combine broth, wine, cornstarch and thyme; blend well.
    Pour into skillet. Cook over low heat until mixture boils and tickens, stirring constantly.
    Stir in mush. Return patties to skillet.
    Cover; simmer about 15 min or until patties are no longer pink in centre.
    Serving suggestions: scalloped potatoes, buttered corn.
