Bahama Mama

Recipe Introduction
This is the closest I could find to the original Bahama Mamas that were fed to me in Grand Bahama. This is the non-frozen version. For frozen, blend with crushed ice until frothy.
Many of the recipes on the web call for coconut rum. I use cheap unflavored rum plus coconut extract, because most of the coconut rums out there are unnecessarily expensive. You won't miss it in this version, believe me.
Finally, you may find yourself in possession of other tropical juices (e.g., mango, grapefruit, guava, etc.). Feel free to mix and match, as there is no "official" Bahama Mama recipe, just make sure that you end up with approx. twice as much juice as rum.
List of Ingredients
1 part rum
1 part orange juice
1 part pineapple juice
1/2 part grenadine (this seems like a lot, but go with it)
1/2 tsp. coconut extract
(NOTE: FOR ONE PITCHER, ONE "PART" = 2 CUPS)Recipe
Mix all ingredients well, pour over ice, drink with straw. Little toothpick umbrella optional.
