Recipe Introduction


These are always very popular at our house for birthday parties....or any
party. You can make up as much meat mixture you need ahead of time - it'll
freeze if you make too much - and then get a bunch of hamburger buns. They
bake up in 10 minutes - and the kids really like them.


List of Ingredients




1/3 cup chopped onion
1 pound ground beef
1 jar pizza sauce with cheese -- (10 1/2 oz)
1 teaspoon oregano
1 cup shredded mozarella -- (4 oz)
8 hamburger buns in halves

Recipe



In large skillet, brown hamburger and onion. Drain. Stir in pizza sauce and
oregano. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or til serving time. Before serving,
heat oven to 400. Stir cheese into hamburger mixture. Spoon onto sliced
buns; place on cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or til cheese is melted. Makes
16 sandwiches.
