Baked French Toast and Cinnamon Syrup

List of Ingredients
2 eggs beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt(scant)
1/2 tsp. vanilla
6 slices Bread
1 c. corn flake crumbs
1/4 c. butter melted
Syrup
1 1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. water
2/3 c. white corn syrup
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
1 Tbsp butter Recipe
Combine eggs, milk, salt, and vanilla, mix well. Dip bread into egg coating
both sides. Then dip into cornflake crumbs coating both sides. Place on
cookie sheet. Drizzle melted butter over bread and bake at 450 degrees for
10 minutes.
For syrup combine first 4 ingredients, bring to a boil cook 2 minutes.
Remove from heat add milk and flavoring and butter. Cook on low to thicken.
Serve warm syrup with french toast and bacon.
